A poem in the sun
It sits in warmth
Its words are melting
Down to the earth
The trickle broadens
A mighty roar of words
The creek flows black
With the melted poem
The sun sinks
The trickle hardens
And all the words
Are lost in black
But hark the moon
A candle in the window
Writing more words
To keep in the shade
Words the sun shall never melt
-Myself
