Morning Ugs

Sitting down is so relieving
It's as if you're
Half in bed
And half out of it.

Groggy walks
Outside in freezing cold
Those chickens should
Let themselves out.

Waiting for breakfast
With eyes full of sleep
And dark circles
Shining underneath.

The downside of
Not making breakfast
And staring at the computer
Like you normally do.

For Penokee
One must pay the price
Of getting up early
And waiting too long for breakfast.
